About The Speakers

We are a family of four, and unlike most families, when we say before there were three (or four) there were two, we mean that it was just me and my daughter Kaitlyn for 5 years.

In September 2008 I met Kevin. Right away we knew we were meant to be together. It wasn't long after that we became engaged.

On March 14th, 2009, Kevin and I got married at our Church, King's Crossing Church of Christ and Kevin, Kaitlyn, and I officially became a family.

On March 31st, 2010 we added our latest addition, Joshua Elliot Speaker, to the family. He is a wonderful boy with a sweet laugh and great heart.

Kaitlyn is in second grade at First Baptist School and is excelling academically and is also an awesome cheerleader for the FBS Spirit Club.

Kevin is about to wrap up his bachelor's degree in Psychology, after which he will continue in school towards his nursing degree.

I am happily a stay-at-home mom and a student in the Counseling master's program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
